We may be in the business of private wealth, but there have been some exceptional results that we think are worth making public. An independent survey conducted by KPMG has found that in 2021 our clients voted their overall satisfaction as 9.3 out of 10.

The results have beaten previous results, which wasn’t an easy feat.

All clients were asked to complete a survey about the service we provide with an above average response rate of 40%. This initiative was part of our association with the Macquarie Virtual Adviser Network (VAN), which is a group of high performing financial planning businesses across Australia.

Across the board, we’re thrilled – and humbled – by the results and feedback. Especially the increase from a 9.1/10 to a 9.3/10 for overall satisfaction, a rating we’re proud of considering the ongoing climate interruptions over the past 12 months.

Our advisers and staff are our greatest asset, and the survey responses indicate that clients feel a similar way. We can report that all advisers scored higher than 9.1 out of 10 in service satisfaction, a result nothing short of outstanding by our, and the survey’s, standard.

Throughout 2021 we focused on education and improving financial literacy to give clients the confidence to understand the landscape better. This was recognised in the data, with a reported 10% increase in improved knowledge from the previous year.

From adviser expertise to improving financial literacy, we also learned that clients consider our people at Hewison a 9.5 out of 10. We won’t be letting this near perfect score get to our heads, in fact, we’ll be using this as a springboard from which to leap even higher — so please let us know how you think we can hit a 10.
